My beliefs on photography, there two kinds of photographs. Those that produce work to earn a living, And those that give us the most reward; the ones that simply compel us to make them. To be behind the lens unveils the meaning of truly seeing the world in front of us, This might allow others to be moved by images and maybe getting the chance to make a change. Most of my self assigned projects have been about those overlooked by society. My work in the world of photography assignments and agencies has allowed me to travel throughout the world.

I started working in 1987.   Jobs have consisted of traveling overseas to the collapse of Eastern Europe to unexplored islands off of Africa to  underwater Hollywood movie sets.   Clients include National Geographic,  National Geographic Channel, New York Times,  AP, The City SUN, World Wildlife Fund,  American Red Cross, NBC, CBS, BBC ,Warner Bros.,  Paramount Pictures and numerous publications.  Awards include (POY) Picture of the Year magazine pictorial, Chicago film festival,EPIC festival, Innerspace Houston.

In the 1990’s my time at Magnum Photos, with Eric Hartmann  in New York, opened a amazing array of image makers and a point of view for me to focus on through  life.
